ON February 20 Floyd Mayweather warned the world on Twitter then posted a picture of their signatures on contract on the Shots app (which he invests in) announcing the mega-fight. Floyd Mayweather got to be the A-side of the agreement. His name would appear first, he would get the larger share of the split and could announce the fight. Manny Pacquiao got the fight he said he’d been craving for the last five years.
It all seemed too good to be true. But on March 11 the two went head to head before the world’s media in Los Angeles [pictured above side by side at the event] for the only press conference in the run up to fight week. It really is on.
